Pallie is a partner on the family law team. She relies on her experience in civil litigation to help clients with restraining orders, property division, and custody and support issues. Her background includes several years litigating medical malpractice cases under the Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act (MICRA), punitive damages and limitations on general damages.  She represented medical professionals sued for medical negligence, medical battery and other intentional torts. An excellent speaker, Pallie is particularly skilled arguing motions on behalf of her clients, and she has done so in the Superior Courts of all nine Bay Area counties.

  • Negotiated complex property division settlements.
  • Litigated custody disputes involving addiction and violence allegations.
  • Represented clients facing international move-away threats.
  • Obtained restraining orders for client and children against abusive spouse or parent.
  • Tackled issues associated with the discovery of protected materials and the right to privileged information.
  • Amicably settled allegations of negligence, 42 U.S.C. §1983 violations, privilege and punitive damages for an inpatient psychiatric treatment facility.

Professional and Community Contributions

Pallie is co-founder and president of the Bay Area chapter of The Pajama Program, a non-profit that collects new books and pajamas for children in shelters. She serves on the Board for La Raza Lawyers Charitable Foundation of Santa Clara County.
