University of Texas School of Law (UT Law) student Nora Gay was the recent recipient of the Elizabeth Pipkin Public Interest Law Fellowship. Named in honor of Partner Elizabeth Pipkin, the fellowship is one of six made possible by a gift from Bill and Stephanie Whitehurst. Administered by the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law at the Law School, the fellowships are awarded annually to outstanding students between their second and third years of law school to support their summer public-interest work. Nora will be working this summer with the Texas Defender Service in Austin, Texas.
