The Silicon Valley Business Journal honored Christine Peek, a partner at McManis Faulkner, as one of the top young executives in its annual “40 Under 40” supplement.
40 Under 40 honorees are nominated by their peers and selected based on success within their industries and contributions to their communities.
In her practice, Peek focuses on business and constitutional litigation in trial and appellate courts. She is known within the firm for taking on some of the most challenging issues, preparing meticulously, and engineering winning strategies. A CIPP/US certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Peek also takes care to keep current on emerging trends in privacy law.
An active member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, Peek is currently a member of the High Technology Section. She also recently served as a member of Santa Clara Law School’s Advisory Committee on the Future of Law Career Opportunities.
In addition, Peek was recently honored by the YWCA Silicon Valley with a 2015 Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award. She also received the 2014 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) Award in the area of civil rights. Named a “Top Woman Attorney” by Northern California SuperLawyers in 2014, Peek has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by the publication from 2009-2014. She received her J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law (2004) and her B.A. from San Jose State University (2000).
