In an interview with the Daily Journal, associate Andrew Parkhurst talks about the positives that have emerged from the blending of personal and professional time that lawyer parents have experienced during COVID-19-related work-from-home policies.
One positive Andrews explains is that the legal profession has become more flexible as a result, with more people willing to accommodate others, like scheduling around family obligations. He commends McManis Faulkner’s partners for accommodating the personal schedules of its lawyers. The added flexibility has allowed Andrew to spend more time with his toddler in the afternoons.
Mr. McManis could not be reached for comment.
