Laura represents clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters.

An experienced attorney, Laura has represented clients in matters involving everything from contract disputes, civil rights violations, and business and appellate litigation. Laura combines extensive pre-trial preparation with courtroom insights to support successful trial strategies and outcomes. Her contributions to our skilled trial teams have helped score impressive victories. Known for her balanced and pragmatic approach, Laura is dedicated to helping clients, including individuals and companies, achieve their goals and secure justice.

Before joining McManis Faulkner, Laura worked at a civil defense firm, achieving litigation success in areas of wrongful death, premises liability, property management, personal injury, and product liability.

Laura thrives on the preparation and intensity of litigation in the courtroom, but she also brings that energy to the outdoors, hiking new peaks and advocating for conservation. Her love for nature and law was put into practice first as a staff editor for Hastings Environmental Law Journal, and now she serves clients with the same grounded focus and passion.

- Member of trial team in a high-stakes fraud and forgery case. Successfully defended a health care AI company and its executives in a case where a former executive vice president alleged concealment, misrepresentation, and false promises related to his employment. After a five-week trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of our client on all counts.
- Brought a client’s employment discrimination claim against their former employer and ultimately negotiated a favorable, pre-litigation severance package.
- Member of team that successfully represented a client engaged in a years-long dispute involving mutual civil harassment restraining orders in a contentious battle over a residential easement.
- Successfully mediated and settled various personal injury cases on behalf of insurance carriers and insureds.
