Warren is an Eagle Scout and his article details how his involvement with Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America, makes him a better lawyer.
He identifies three ways scouting helps him as a lawyer: unplugging, leadership, and morality. He analyzes the importance of each and how what he learned as a Scout applies to lawyering.
“Scouting continually reaffirms in me the code of ethics we are taught as lawyers and re-instills the sense of servant leadership that is inherent in lawyering. It motivates me to overcome obstacles and forge a path forward,” Warren says in his article.
