For the second year, McManis Faulkner hosted 10 government lawyers (Delegates) from the People’s Republic of China as they experienced the life of an American trial lawyer. Part of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers’ (IATL) annual China Program, the Delegates arrived in San Jose on May 19 for a week-long orientation followed by a two week stay in the homes of IATL Fellows in various cities across the U.S. In addition, a welcome dinner was held on May 20 at The Fairmont and attended by the region’s leading attorneys, judges, politicians and special guests to introduce the China Program to members of the legal community.
