James McManis taught a Remedies Course to fourth-year law students at Lincoln Law School. Covering a variety of subjects, the course addressed the powers of courts of equity, specific performance, specific relief against torts, special equitable remedies, interpleader, cancellation and surrender of contracts, removal of cloud of title and declaratory judgment. Preparing for their real world legal practice, students studied “black letter law” and the goals underpinning contemporary remedies and discussed the cases and debated the policies.
