The firm hosted New Israel Fund Fellows Samar Qudha Tannous and Carmel Pomerantz as they discussed the intersection of the Israeli judicial system and social change in Israel, as well as competing aspects of the law that both empower and marginalize the country's most vulnerable populations. The New Israel Fund's Israel-U.S. Civil Liberties Law Program, which trains Israeli lawyers in civil rights law, is now in its 29th year. Its 50+ alumni form the core of Israel's civil rights bar.
