James McManis gave the keynote address at the Stanford China Law & Policy Conference on May 17, 2015. The speech, entitled “The Communist Party of China (CPC), Savior of the Nation: The Rule of Law with Chinese Characteristics,” provided a comparative review of the Rule of Law in China and the U.S. The conference was held to discuss the legal implications of a rising China. A previous keynote speaker was Condoleezza Rice, U. S. Secretary of State.
