Stanford Law School Seminar / China Guiding Cases Program (CGCP)

James McManis participated in the first Guiding Cases Seminar hosted by the China Guiding Cases Project (CGCP) of Stanford Law School. He presented on “How Guiding Cases Promote the Rule of Law in China: The Perspective of an American Trial Lawyer.” The event was held at Stanford Law School. Additional speakers included Jason Zuocheng Hao, visiting scholar of Stanford Law School and former Director of the Civil Law Department, Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress; Mei Gechlik, founder and director, China Guiding Cases Project, Stanford Law School; and Yabo Lin, a partner at Sidley Austin LLP.
