Matthew Schechter attended The 6th Annual Santa Clara High School Exhibition at the New Museum of Las Gatos. Over 970 submissions of students' works were received, of which 60 pieces were exhibited. Scholarships and prizes, including a $5,000 Michael and Alyce Parsons Foundation Scholarship, $3,000 in gift certificates donated by University Art and $3,200 in cash prizes from NUMU were awarded. Matthew serves on the Board of Directors of NUMU.
