James McManis was invited to speak at China’s Guiding Cases program in Beijing, China. Consisting of a mock trial and panel sessions covering key areas of law, including commercial law and intellectual property rights, this large-scale conference serves as a critical platform for diverse and distinguished legal experts to share their insights about China’s Guiding Cases and other important cases released by the Supreme People’s Court of China, such as the “Belt & Road” typical cases, and discuss their prospects. Attendees included more than 100 judges, lawyers, academics, and students from across China.
