As a part of an event put on by the National Business Institute and Institute for Paralegal Education, Deborah Barbour presented several sections of the Litigation Boot Camp for Paralegals. She covered how litigation paralegals play an instrumental part in case management; from calendaring and docketing important deadlines, to preparing the trial site, and finally, to assisting in the post-trial wrap up. Her presentation emphasized the importance of clear communications between parties, using technology in litigation and how to preserve evidence to avoid spoliation.
