The Northern District of California Lawyer Representatives Committee held the annual Northern District of California District Conference at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley. The conference featured 10 sessions on various topics of interest to Northern District judges and practitioners. Panelists included judges from the federal judiciary, private and public-sector lawyers, and professors. 
Partner, Elizabeth Pipkin serves as a Ninth Circuit Judicial Council Lawyer Representative and was selected to serve as the co-chair of the Conference this year. In addition, McManis Faulkner’s Ann Ravel also moderated a panel with Congressman Mark DeSaulnier that discussed the priorities of Congress in 2019 and how those priorities will affect the Bay Area.
