On November 6, 2023, McManis Faulkner hosted Berkeley Law’s Silicon Valley Alumni Chapter event, “Evening with the Dean.” Guest speaker Dean Erwin Chemerinsky gave remarks regarding changes coming to the school and answered questions from chapter alumni.
The program recognized and celebrated Berkeley Law alumni in the Silicon Valley region, provided updates on the activities of the law school, and acknowledged the work of alumni chairs, Karen Boyd and Jahnavi Pendharkar, in leading this local chapter. Drinks and appetizers were served during the reception.
McManis Faulkner’s founder, James McManis, previously served as president of the Boalt Hall Alumni Association and he remains an active member of the Berkeley Law alumni community.
