Head of 35-year-old McManis Faulkner, McManis also was named a 2009 Northern California Super Lawyer. He has represented many Silicon Valley companies with regard to commercial, trade secret and intellectual property issues and also represents individuals in civil rights actions, employment disputes and criminal defense. A member of the trial bar for more than 40 years, McManis is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 11 consecutive years and appears in Who’s Who in America. McManis received his J.D. from University of California, Berkeley Law School (1967) and his B.A. in history, with Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University (1964).

Faulkner is a seasoned civil trial lawyer in commercial litigation, including trade secrets and real estate and leasing disputes. Faulkner earned his J.D. from University of California Hastings College of the Law (1978) and his B.A. from Stanford University (1973).
