Marwa Elzankaly has been appointed to the Standing Committee on Professional Conduct for the United States District Court, Northern District of California. The committee serves as a disciplinary arm of the Northern District Court with each of its seven members acting as special masters for disciplinary proceedings. Members investigate charges of unprofessional conduct as well as review and recommend revisions to the Court’s rules on investigating. In addition, they are tasked with resolving issues of professional misconduct. The committee can resolve matters informally or recommend disciplinary action.
