James McManis’ questioning of former Vice Mayor Madison Nguyen was featured in the article “Former San Jose Vice Mayor Testifies in Brown Act Lawsuit,” published in the February 5, 2016 issue of the San Jose Mercury News. McManis is representing the Vietnamese American Community of Northern California in a lawsuit accusing San Jose officials of repeatedly violating the Brown Act, California's law requiring open government meetings.
