Judge Rules City Violated Brown Act in Little Saigon Dispute

Ending a decade long dispute, a Santa Clara County judge ruled that the City of San Jose violated the Brown Act, which requires open government meetings. Representing the Vietnamese American Community of Northern California, James McManis discussed the benefits of the decision for the city and its citizens in the article "Court: Council Broke Laws" which was published by the San Jose Mercury News on January 6, 2017.
