Ninth Circuit Agrees to Rehear en banc Fees Bid in No Fly Case

January 02, 2018

The Ninth Circuit has agreed to rehear en banc whether the federal government acted in bad faith by defending the indefensible in a case involving a Malaysian woman who was wrongfully placed on a “no fly” list.  McManis Faulkner lawyers contend that the because of the government’s unreasonable actions, our client should be awarded $3.8 million in attorneys’ fees. Jim McManis, Elizabeth Pipkin, Christine Peek and Marwa Elzankaly’s representation of Rahinah Ibrahim is mentioned in the article entitled “Full 9th Circ. To Rehear Fees Bid In 'No Fly' Case,” on Law360 on January 2, 2018.
