McManis Faulkner’s defense of payment platform RiverPay Inc. in a trade secrets lawsuit against its rival Citcon USA LLC was recently featured on Law360. Partner, Elizabeth Pipkin was quoted in the article entitled, “Payment Platform Seeks Sanctions In Trade Secrets Fight,” which covers the McManis team’s request to sanction Citcon for violating a court order protecting sensitive information in the case. According to the motion, Citcon filed a separate lawsuit, using information extracted from materials in the RiverPay lawsuit that had been marked confidential.
