Bay Area Minority Summer Clerkship Program (BAMSCP)

McManis Faulkner actively supports and participates in the Bay Area Minority Summer Clerkship Program (BAMSCP).  BAMSCP provides first-year, minority law students with the opportunity to gain experience at law firms that they might not otherwise be able to access. Based on the students’ geographical location and their interests, BAMSCP pairs students with participating Bay Area firms and legal employers. These talented individuals then have the opportunity to interview and join a law firm for the summer where they can develop skills, confidence, and experience firsthand the practice of law.

We think it is important to be a part of this summer clerkship program because removing barriers is at the heart of how we strive to practice law – with kindness and integrity.  Partnership with BAMSCP allows us to put our beliefs in the importance of inclusion in our firm and in the law into action – to help promote the wisdom that in diversity, there is strength.  We are proud to provide support to future lawyers within our community.

This program is sponsored by Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA), Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA), and Contra Costa Bar Association (CCBA).   For more information, visit https://sccba.site-ym.com/page/bamscp.
