Partner James McManis was recently interviewed by NBC Bay Area, discussing recourse for parents over canceled summer camps due to COVID-19. The video segment aired May 26.
With summer camps staying closed, many families were expecting refunds for canceled summer sessions, but not everyone is getting their money back. Jim explains that some families may need to take legal action to recoup their money. He says about refund refusals: “This is just disgusting behavior.”
According to Jim, “…these people have paid all this money for something that’s very important to them. They’re not getting it, and they’re not getting the money back. You don’t need to know an awful lot more than that."
