Marwa spoke with blog editor Iman Malik to discuss the highlights of her litigation practice, her career achievements, and how she is trying to change misconceptions about Muslim women.
In her profile, she cited the Ibrahim case as one of her most significant career achievements – both professionally and personally – by documenting the challenges she and the firm faced during the course of the litigation. She went on to explain that one of her “proudest moments is when [she] realized that [she] was able to practice as a Muslim woman, and still get people to respect [her] abilities and rely on [her] as an experienced attorney.”
