McManis Faulkner Partner Tyler Atkinson Selected for Litigation Counsel of America

McManis Faulkner Partner Tyler Atkinson was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). Atkinson joins partners James McManis, Elizabeth Pipkin, and William Faulkner in the prestigious society.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of 3,500 members, less than one-half of one percent of all American lawyers. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA membership represents the best in the law. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are evaluated based on their accomplishments in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. In addition, the LCA is dedicated to promoting advocacy, professionalism and ethical standards among its Fellows.

In his practice, Tyler represents Fortune 500 companies, closely held businesses, charitable institutions, and individuals in a wide range of trial work, including trade secrets, complex commercial disputes, and civil rights cases. Tyler also frequently assists in negotiations and crisis management, counseling corporate and executive clients in sensitive matters that require careful handling. He serves as managing attorney for the Legal Counseling Office at Stanford University and serves on the board of trustees of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Santa Cruz County.
