Michael Warren on Employees’ Fears about Returning to Work

In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, partner Michael Warren reviews the post-COVID-19 reopening phase with employees returning to work. Many employees are worried about exposure to the virus while on the job, in addition to fears they might get laid off for refusing to return to work. “An employee may refuse to return to work if it presents an imminent danger,” Michael says, noting however it may be hard to establish.
