Partner Michael Warren is quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle article titled “Coronavirus: Can tech allay the dangers of the Bay Area office of the future?” wherein he discusses a handful of employment concerns that might arise from reopening businesses after the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders are lifted.
Michael warns employers about a potential second wave of coronavirus infections once workers return to the workplace. He says, “The best approach for an employer in thinking about this is to prepare for additional waves of the virus spreading.” He explains however that an employer may not force employees to come into a known hazardous work environment, especially if there has been an infection at the worksite.
