McManis earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (1967) and his B.A. in History, with Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University (1964).

Faulkner leads McManis Faulkner’s business-oriented practices, handling complex civil litigation, including business disputes, commercial real estate matters and probate litigation. He represents a wide range of businesses, including technology companies, and advises on corporate and partnership matters. Faulkner earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1978) and his B.A. in Sociology from Stanford University (1973).
Making her first appearance on the list, Peek was recognized in the “Litigation – Intellectual Property” category. In her practice, Peek represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of trial work, including trade secrets, complex commercial disputes, and municipal litigation. She is an experienced advocate in public records cases, and she is frequently consulted on issues arising under the California Public Records Act (CPRA). Peek received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (2004) and her B.A. from San Jose State University (2000).
Reedy was recognized in the “Appellate Practice” category for the second consecutive year. With more than 25 years of experience in civil litigation and appellate law, Reedy represents clients in family law matters. He has tried cases in both state and federal court and handles appeals in the Ninth Circuit and the California Court of Appeal on matters involving civil rights, constitutional issues, business litigation, land use and family law. Reedy also has experience handling anti-SLAPP matters and he is a frequent speaker on the topic. He earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law (1992) and his B.A. from Stanford University (1978).
