According to a national study of 1,000 employees, workers do not want to be rushed back to the office, and their biggest concern is their co-workers’ vaccination status; nearly two-thirds of respondents want mandatory vaccinations for co-workers before returning to the office.
Michael says California companies may make this a requirement – with some exceptions. He says on the exceptions, "If employees have a sincerely held religious belief or an underlying disability that prevents them from getting the COVID-19 vaccine, then the employer would have to engage in the interactive process and provide a reasonable accommodation."
