Partner Jim McManis is the subject of a profile in the 2022 issue of Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine, focusing on his personal library. Jim’s library has more than 23,000 books, running the gamut from “historical to biography, sports, science poetry, law, fiction, politics, classics and more.” Of his collection, he says, “There are a lot of subjects that interest me.”
Jim’s love for books began in the third grade when his mother would take him to the library and allow him to check out as many books as he could read in a week. “Once I could afford it,” Jim says, “I began to buy as many books as I could.”
