McManis Faulkner’s Elizabeth Pipkin Named to Daily Journal’s “Top 100 Lawyers” List

McManis Faulkner congratulates Partner Elizabeth Pipkin for her inclusion on the “Top 100 Lawyers” list published by the Daily Journal, California’s largest legal newspaper. The annual roundup recognizes the top 100 lawyers in California who have made a difference to their clients, their firms and the legal profession. This marks Pipkin’s second appearance on the list; she was previously selected in 2014.

The Daily Journal discusses Pipkin’s penchant for taking on challenging cases. Pipkin says, “I’m fortunate to have clients come to me with difficult issues, and I do enjoy the challenge.” The profile discusses two of her recent, complex matters, including one consumer class action regarding hard drive reliability and individually representing a witness testifying in a case against Elizabeth Holmes. The publication also highlights Pipkin’s leadership with the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley and the organization’s current social justice initiatives.

As a managing partner of McManis Faulkner, Pipkin represents companies and individuals in a wide range of disputes, including those involving technology, trade secrets, complex commercial issues and civil rights matters. She is the past president of the Board of Trustees for the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, overseeing the organization’s various social justice initiatives in the community. Pipkin recently co-chaired the Ninth Circuit Lawyer Representatives Committee for the Northern District of California, and she is a member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Law School Association of Northern California. Pipkin received her J.D. from Harvard Law School (2001) and her B.A. from Brigham Young University (1998).
