Paralegal Jairo Bustos was invited to speak about his experience in the Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) program by the organization’s founder, Christa Gannon. Jairo joined Christa at a FLY presentation for a Palo Alto investment company.
Together, they explained FLY’s mission to support Bay Area youths affected by the justice system, connecting them with positive role models and mentors.
The purpose of this “Why FLY” presentation was to encourage staff to participate in the organization’s annual letter-writing program, which encourages people to write letters to youths incarcerated in the Bay Area.
