Google LLC, a landmark case filed by law firms Korein Tillery and Bartlit Beck to vindicate the rights of over 14 million Android device users in California. On July 1, following a monthlong trial, a Santa Clara County jury found that Google transferred data from users’ devices without their consent for surveillance purposes, including targeted advertising, while unlawfully consuming users’ cellular data in the process.
