Just Took the Bar Exam, Now What?

You just took the bar exam. You have survived hundreds of hours of studying. So, what now?

For months you have meticulously scheduled every single day - when to wake up, what to eat, when to study, what time to go sleep, etc. If you are anything like me, you may feel lost now that the bar is over. To make matters worse, the bar results are not released for months. What to do with all this free time? Here are few suggestions of things to do while waiting for bar results:

• Treat Yourself
• Reconnect with Loved Ones
• Refocus on Your Health
• Clerk/Volunteer; and
• Network

Barbara Reedy Honored with The Above The Call Receptionist Award

Barbara Reedy was honored with “The Above The Call Receptionist Award” at the Silicon Valley Admin Awards on April 19, 2017. The Admin Awards, founded in 2012, is a unique program that publicly recognizes the invaluable contributions of Administrative Professionals. Silicon Valley administrative professionals competed in the various award categories, which are reviewed and evaluated by an independent panel of judges who selects the finalists and winners in each category.

As part of the front office team for the last 10 years, Barbara is the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and attorneys who have business with the firm. She is responsible for the firm’s master calendar and is part of the facilities and safety teams.  She edits and helps maintain the content of the firm’s website.  In addition, Barbara serves as legal librarian and as librarian to the firm’s private collection of nearly 20,000 novels and non-fiction books.
