McManis Faulkner’s Brandon Rose Lands on Daily Journal’s “Top Family Lawyers” for Second Straight Year

Brandon RoseMcManis Faulkner congratulates partner Brandon Rose, named to the Daily Journal’s “Top Family Lawyers” awards list for the second consecutive year. Rose was selected to the inaugural list in 2022. The list recognizes the top California family law lawyers who have made a difference to their clients, their firms and the legal profession.

In its coverage of the honor, the Daily Journal noted Rose’s varied litigation background as a pillar of his family law practice. “Family law is diverse,” he says, “and cases often cross into other legal areas, such as finance, tax or real estate.” The profile detailed Rose’s defense of a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur, in addition to his work on another business-centered divorce matter, both of which showcased his general civil litigation knowledge. “They’re all unique in their own way,” he said about the cases he handles.

Chair of McManis Faulkner’s award-winning Family Law Group, Rose is a certified Family Law Specialist of the State Bar of California. He handles complex family law matters, resolving property and business disputes, as well as contested child custody and support issues. Rose serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the San Mateo County Superior Court’s “Divorce in a Day” Program, which helps self-represented litigants obtain a judgment of divorce or legal separation. He was named a “Family Law Trailblazer” by the National Law Journal in 2022, and he has been named a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers magazine from 2017-2020. Rose received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (2009) and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (2004). Between college and law school, he taught English in Japan.
